Brewed and released for Lent, Schlenkerla Lentbier or Fastenbier is a rare treat for fans of Rauchbier, or German smoked lagers. This beer is brewed with a blend of non smoked malt, and Schlenkerla's famous beechwood smoked malt that gives their beer their character. Full bodied and malty, with a noticeable smoked character, but slots underneath the Urbock in levels of "bacon notes".
