Keg Policy
With exception of the kegs in inventory above, our kegs are special order only. We usually need at least 48 hours to get a keg you request, so please plan accordingly. Thursday at 5PM is the cutoff to order kegs to have them for the weekend.

We require prepayment on any special order kegs.

All keg sales are final and cannot be returned or refunded, whether the keg is full or empty. This is due to the fact that we cannot return kegs to their distributor.

Empty kegs must be returned within 6 months to have deposit refunded. Dispensing equipment must be returned within 2 weeks.

Some of these kegs are subject to seasonal availability as well as inventory. We do rent picnic taps, Quiktaps and jockey boxes for serving your keg purchase.  Please see below for more information.

We can typically get beers from the following breweries:

Allagash (White, Rotating Availability)

Keg Dispensing Equipment

Picnic Taps

Picnic taps are the most basic method of dispensing beer from a keg. They force oxygen in through a pump which pushes beer out. Cheapest and easiest method if the keg will be consumed quickly, i.e. at a wedding or party. The oxygen will degrade the beer however over time, not a good method for longer than a day.

Cost: $45 refundable deposit. The deposit will be forfeited if the tap is not returned, or is returned damaged or missing parts.

QuikTap

QuickTap is our newest keg dispensing option, and currently our favorite.  It combines the ease of use of a picnic pump with CO2 assisted dispensing.  Because no oxygen comes in contact with the beer, this method can be used indefinitely without any degradation of the beer due to oxidation.  The keg must be kept cold using these pumps, which can be done with a bucket of ice.  Easy to use and simple to pour, in effect a mobile kegerator.

Cost: $45 usage fee plus a $300 refundable deposit.  The deposit will be forfeited if the QuikTap is not returned, or is returned damaged or missing parts.

Single Tap Jockey Box **Temporarily Unavailable**

A jockey box is an insulated cooler with a stainless steel coil inside.  The cooler is filled with a mix of ice and water.  The beer travels from the keg, through the coil which is chilled by the ice/water and out the tap.  With a jockey box setup like this, the chilling of the keg is less important as the beer travels through a long coil of chilled stainless steel.  The downside is jockey boxes are more complicated to set up, with pressures needing to be set on an external CO2 tank regulator.

Cost: $50 usage fee plus a $300 refundable deposit.  The deposit will be forfeited if the jockey box is not returned, or is returned damaged or missing parts.

Two Tap Jockey Box  **Temporarily Unavailable**
