OEC Coolship Lager
Another rare beer hitting the Portland shop only on Friday, our first beer ever from Connecticut's OEC Brewing, well renowned for their unique takes to sour beers. This beer is a traditional take on a Lager, although it is cooled in their cool ship. Here's the description from the brewery: "Brewed using a traditional double decoction mash and hopped with fine European noble hops. After the boil it rests in our copper coolship for 1 hour. It is then transferred over our baudelot cooler into our open tanks for fermentation. After a cool fermentation using a classic Czech lager yeast it is cellared for several
months prior to release." These are four packs of 16oz cans and retails for $14.99. We got the only case to come to Maine, but we will open this one up to holds.
