German Rauchbier brewed with malt smoked over Beechwood. The smoke notes balance the caramel malts to create a complex and tasty Märzen. Considered the classic example in its category, has been brewed for centuries in the baroque town of Bamberg in Franconia (Bavaria/Germany).
