Mast Landing Gunner's Daughter

Quite possibly the best known beer in Mast Landing's lineup, Gunner's Daughter is a milk stout that has huge notes of peanut butter, chocolate and coffee.  We cracked a can today, and the aroma is unreal, just huge peanut butter cup notes.  Nice roasty notes in the flavor help balance the peanut butter and chocolate flavors.  Beers of this style can quickly become novelties, but Gunner's Daughter manages to thread the needle between tasting like a well crafted beer, but having some fun with your palate.  A desert beer that isn't sweet, just a fun play on what a beer can be.
