Avinyo Pettilant Vi D’Agulla – 2015 – Spain - Wine with a prickle of carbonation, bright honeysuckle and almond on the nose. Bracingly dry on the palate, with flavors of lemon peel and a faint brininess. Refreshing.
El Necio Syrah – 2013 – Argentina - Reminiscent of Northern Rhone Syrahs. 90 pts Robert Parket. Bright purple in the glass, with roasted aromas of dark cherry, ripe blackberry bacon fat, and vanilla. Cocoa and licorice notes saturate the palate, and the wine finishes round and direct.
Pierre de la Grange Muscadet – 2012 – France - One of the best Muscadet’s we have tasted, and a beautiful/perfect pairing with seafood. Bright acidity and beautiful minerality, like the wine equivalent of drinking the ocean, in a good way.
Domaine Saint-Eugenie Rose – 2015 – France - Dry rose made with Cinsault, Grenaceh and Syrah. Very fresh, expressive red fruit fragrance of strawberry, raspberry and red currant with floral overtones.
Ponga Sauvignon Blanc – 2014 – New Zealand - Marlborough Sauvingon Blanc. A fragrant wine that exhibits flavors of nectarine, lime and grapefruit, with great acid backbone. Mineral and floral nuances accent the finish.
Spann Betsy’s Backacher – 2013- A field blend from one of our favorite California producers. Betsy's Backacher is dark red/black in color, has a rustic nose of black licorice, red cherries and plums and a taste that follows; juicy red cherries and black licorice.
