Pascal Granger "Le Fetrau" Beaujolais Villages
This is a ripe, rounded wine with good fruit flavors, rich berries and black cherries as well as plenty of acidity. That makes for a wine that will keep a few months and, with its structure, will drink better with some age. Organically produced, after hand-harvesting, the grapes are fermented for eight to ten days as whole bunches. Then, the wine is drawn off into vats and is aged an additional six months prior to bottling.
