This is the first time we have gotten to carry the Foillard Fleurie, another beautiful Beaujolais appelation. I am excited to get to try the Foillard treatment of Fleurie as it hasn't made it to market before. Here is the review from Wine Advocate: "matured in old foudres between two and fifteen years old, has a very intense bouquet with shimmering red plum and cranberry aromas, becoming floral with a gorgeous candied note developing underneath. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, pure cranberry and raspberry fruit pierced by a saline seam that lends it tension towards the poised finish." This is another wine that we were only able to score a case of, and more than a couple bottles will be making it to my personal cellar.
