De Molen Cease & Desist
Years ago Dutch brewery De Molen released a beer called Rasputin. It was an amazingly tasty and massive Russian Imperial Stout, so the name made sense. A certain California brewery didn't like the name, so they told De Molen in no uncertain terms to change it. So De Molen changed the name to Disputin. That apparently was also too close, so the beer has since been known as Cease & Desist. In typical De Molen style, this Imperial Stout is massive and delicious, with huge notes of dark fruits, espresso and mocha. The best by date is 25 years out, so this is a great candidate for aging.
