This is ale was aged in Woodford’s Reserve bourbon barrels (that previously held 2015 Black Ops), each containing 15 lbs of fresh Raspberries with additions of Brooklyn’s house strain of lactobacillus. The bourbon character will be very subtle in this giving way to more wood properties. Hop additions include: Perle and Mosaic. The beer is bottle conditioned with some Brett and champagne yeasts. The result is a 7.3% tart, fruity and bone dry, belgian-style sour.
